In March, our family received news that our next assignment would be Osan AB, South Korea. This news was met with giddy excitement from everyone, and we began planning for this epic adventure. Of course, the news of the move also brought the realization that we would have to say goodbye not only to our Enid friends, but to our families....who we have been blessed to see in epic proportions in the last 12 months. While proximity and frequency make great memories and build stronger relationships, they also make it even harder to say goodbye. And, if this goodbye were like removing a band-aid, we didn't really make it quick and painless. In true Markowski fashion, we maximized every opportunity between March and October to visit, visit, visit.... And, every opportunity became a beautiful snap-shot in our memory book that we will treasure while oceans (and timezones) away in Korea. Thank you to everyone who arranged their calendars (and their furniture) to accommodate one last visit! We love you!
